To celebrate the original transatlantic wireless signal made by Guglielmo Marconi, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s (CBC) Radio One planned a series of programs to culminate with a day of broadcasts that would include radio-vérité from locations around the world. In anticipation of this broadcast, CBC Radio 3 created a Global Sampler which allowed visitors to mix sound and images from six locations around the world. Lush travel photography cropped in a wide-screen format combines with the rhythms of daily life to create an engaging interactive cinematic experience.

Tuning The World was included in Communication Arts’ eighth Interactive Design Annual.
