Home Delivery is collection of some of the best TV and Radio that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) has to offer, delivered weekly to subscribers’ desktop and presented in a magazine-style format. Designed as a full screen application Home Delivery bridges the gap between web site and television, delivering high impact content at viewers’ fingertips.

I joined CBC Radio 3 in order to help with the design and implementation of this ambitious pilot project which ran from October to February of 2002. A key member of a small team, I contributed to the visual aesthetic and to the magazine-style navigation.

  • Presentation of inital mockups to define the look-and-feel of the project
  • Suggested and refined overall interface direction
  • Flash development of interface and project shell
  • Programming of Flash modules including a dynamic calendar and audio player
  • Worked with a research team to suggest, select and refine story ideas
  • For each weekly pilot issue I contributed screen design, Flash motion design, and copy writing
  • Over the course of the pilot I also contributed photography, audio and video editing
