The Design Exchange (DX) is Canada’s national not-for-profit design research, education and exhibition center. Visitors and members can view a permanent exhibit of Canadian designs, at the heart of which is a growing number of chairs by Canadian designers. Elements of Design is an educational interactive presentation that places key chair designs in the context of ten core elements of design. Alongside designs from history, two contemporary designers lend a fresh perspective to the ten elements of design by describing how they are reflected in their recent work.
- Presented my original concept to a small team
- Designed mockups to illustrate concept
- Assisted with copy writing and performed interviews with contributing designers
- Designed an easy to use interface to enhance the narrative presentation
- Flash development of finalized design
