An electronic culture magazine based in Toronto, Canada, Shift was an early adopter of Flash for its online component. The site garnered much praise for innovative use of Flash, and quickly became more than a promotional tool for the off line magazine. Despite the recent demise of the print magazine, Shift Online continues as it’s own entity and is nominated in the People’s Voice category of 2003’s Webby Awards.
